Classic Pin-Up Eye makeup

So,being completely honest. It has taken me a very long time to really get the knack of doing eyeliner without the help of tape or a eyeshadow shield. But recently I've found that finally after practicing and practicing I finally have the knack of it. It's just all part of the eyeliner learning curve, you will eventually pick up your way of doing it and be happy with it!

So after a couple of people via instagram and friends of mine have asked me how do you do it? I decided to do a pictorial and show you how easy it is!

I have used Benefit Cosmetics Magic Ink, MAC mascara and Ardell Demi Wispies, took me less than 10 minutes.

Nō.1 I ALWAYS start with a line going from the edge of my eye and flick it outwards towards my eyebrow, everytime I do it on the other eye I find it always looks equal, because it works as my guide.

Nō.2 I personally don't paint on the other line from the tip of the flick, I always go from the middle and bring it into my eye. And then continue a fine line to the inside of my eye.

Nō.3 Filling in, pretty straight forward.

Nō.4 Tidying up now, some people use concealer to sharpen the flick, luckily on this occasion I haven't had to do anything as I am happy with it so just added my mascara and get the glue on my lashes ready for application.

Nō.5 Here I have used Ardell Natural Demi Wispies for that 'pin-up' Finnish and that's it!

Now, I know that Nō.3 looks messy around the top area but that's ok because its can easily be amanded as you can see from Nō.4 and Nō.5. Now some people have a natural knack for it, others don't so remember Practise DOES make perfect.

It's been a while.

Hello again,
So since May last year I've been a pretty busy bee. I switched jobs about 3 times since Benefit and haven't really found somewhere I could settle. But throughout the year, I've been buying lots of makeup and watching lots of YouTube videos and tutorials.

Today I come at you with my most recent look using CrownBrush 28 Nude Eyeshadow Palette and one shade from Urban Decays naked2, all pointed at so you can see the shades used to create this beautiful golden smoke.

Firstly, I have Primed with 'Stay dont Stray'eyeshadow primer by Benefit.

No.1 - Used in the inner corner of my eye and under my eyebrow.
No.2- Used In the crease of my eye brought out wards towards my eyebrow.
No.3 - Used again in my crease really blending the lighter and darker colours together and mixing the chocolate brown with the black eyeliner In my water line.
No.4 - I used very very very little of this colour, blended very well with the lighter and darker browns to add depth to my crease but to also emphasise that gold I'm going to apply. A little bit like a cut crease.
No.5 - From the Naked Palette 2 I used half baked with a dampened brush and patted on and used shade No.2 from the CrownBrush Nude palette to soften the line between the gold and the brown.
No.6 - For this look I haven't used eyeliner, so using tweezers I add these babies on.The lashes are Ardell natural wispies
No.7 - Eyebrows Are Anistasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow in Dark Brown and the brushes I've used mostley from CrownBrush.
Let's see the finished look then....
