My Illamasqua Wishlist

New found love, Illamasqua.
They're individual, exiting and different. I believe that your makeup should be what ever you feel comfortable in, and people who tend to use Illamasqua are individuals and couldn't care less wearing green lippy. And personally, Life is boring if you are like everyone else so why not?
So here's my wishlist! - I visited the Illamasqua counter while I was in Glasgow but like I said, I didn't have much money (probably a good thing as I would have bought everything) still waiting for payday! Anyway...
No.1 Illamasqua's Hydra Veil Primer from the Paranormal Range. Now at first I was a bit confused at this product and hated the look of it as it is a clear gel (almost like hair gel) but when I put it on my hand it felt like water on my hand as it soaked into my skin. I couldn't get my head around how it would work as a primer but it seems to be very popular! It's a hydrating primer, and you can defiantly feel the hydration as you put it on. Very good for dry skin, and very good for a base for anyone who feels their foundation looks 'dry' use this before and your skin will stay flawless and fresh under your foundation.
No.2 Illamasqua's Gel Eyeliner using a fine brush. I love seeing a bold eyeliner enhancing someone's eye shape and always wanted to try it and see how I get on. Who better to go to than Illamasqua.
No.3 Illamasqua's Matte Lipstick in shade Salacious. I love purple, deep pinks and plums on my lips. And this color screams out to me!
No.4 Illamasqua's Eyebrow Cake in Shade Peek. I have always used Browzings by Benefit and never had a problem with it. But I love how this product defines the brow very boldly which unfortunately I don't get with Browzings as I love a bold brow. And when I tried it on in the Cardiff store I had to refrain myself from buying it (wish I did!)
I also feel the prices for their products are reasonable.
Hydra Veil Primer - 30ml £27
Gel Precision Liner - 5g £18
Salacious Lipstick -  £16
Eyebrow Cake Peek -  £15.50

When visiting the land of Scots

So this weekend just passed, I visited Scotland for the first time!
I went to the beautiful place called Glasgow, and wow the shopping is the to die for along Queens Street.
I visited all the department stores which include House Of Fraser (Photo on the right) and Debenhams and I went a little mad with excitement as every single makeup counter was in either store. I was a little down as my payday is not until this Friday and I had £30 to my name! But couldn't resist, and was a little naughty.

So as you can see, I am a little bit addicted to Estee-Lauder. As I was so desperate for a new Primer, I decided to lay off Benefit a bit and try something new. As for the last 6 Months I have been using 'Girl Meets Pearl' and 'Pourfessional' together before using my foundation. So I went to the Debenhams in Glasgow and was greeted  by such a lovely lady. She recommended the 'Illuminating' Primer for me as I like to look 'Fresh Faced' when using it, it leaves a beautiful glow on my skin, with a almost sticky texture (which I love) because I know my foundation doesn't slide through the day.

I then remembered I needed more makeup remover as I had run out, I use 'Remove it' by Benefit but was left disappointed, They'd run out!! So with persuasion I ended up buying Lauder's one. And so Far, I'm very happy with it! It smells gorgeous, and really does help with removing as much as it can. It's a cream not a liquid, so It's a lot more soothing on my skin.

The Sample I got from her is one I'm on the fence about at the moment. The 'Estee Lauders Even Skintone  Illuminator.' I've had two samples of it, and I do like it, but I need to use it a little more before I decide to spend £47 on it.
For anyone one the fence about Estee Lauder, I defiantly recommend them 110%
Makeup Remover          200ml - £21
Illuminating Primer          30ml - 21.50
Skintone Corrector        30ml -£47
                                     50ml -£64

Day-to-Day Favorites

So here are my day to day favorites I love using. Mainly because it's subtle and not heavy on my skin.
My everyday moisturizer if Estee Lauder's daywear. I love it as it's a very light moisturizer that is oil-free and also has SPF 25 in too, Which helps me out because I have combination skin and the smell is just, beautiful. It has that really fresh smell about it, and even when you wear it my skin feels really hydrated. All in all, my favorite. My Hollister body spray for those 'top-up's' through the day, but it is a spray so the fragrance does not stay for long, but this one in particular 'Seacliff beach' stays really well!
Foamingly Clean by Benefit, I have to say over every facial wash I've ever used I have never felt a difference on my skin. But this stuff does so much for me! The smooth and brightened up look it leaves in my skin is defiantly worth £17.50. And lastly, my Soap & Glory body spray, I've had this bottle for about a year and use once to twice a week just over my arms and legs, it leaves your skin looking glorious (especially with none-hairy-legs),and smells incredible! Soap & Glory are by far one of my favorite brands along with all the packaging and naughty names.
Do you own any or used them before?
